Plant the Seed of Amish Furniture Love
If you have friends or family that have recently purchased a home, a great way of showing how happy you are for them is giving a gift that will last them for generations to come. That gift can be a gift of Amish furniture or accessory. No matter how big or small, any piece of Amish made goods will plant the seed that will develop into full blown out love for Amish made goods.
The gift can be as simple as a Amish cookbook as pictured above.
Cooking with Horse and Buggy People is a spiral bound collection of 600 favorite recipes from the Heart of Holmes County Amish. A 268 Page book it covers Breads, cakes, cookies, desserts, pies, salads, main dishes, soups, cereals, candy, misc, drinks and canning. This book ships USPS.
Or a Amish breadbox
Breadbox - Roll Top - Plain - Oak
No matter what the gift is, you will know it will be well received and very possibly begin a lifelong tradition.

What a great idea for a housewarming gift!!! Most people send flowers or bring a bottle of wine. Neither last.
ReplyDeleteWe used to go to a Amish community over by Ames Iowa I believe when we were young. I'm old now, so pardon me if I got the location off a little. Anyhow, they had this terrific restuarant where you sat down and was fed family style. The food was out of this world fantastic! That I will never forget! And my favorite was their fresh baked bread and their homemade butter!!! Sooooooo GOOD!!! So there is no doubt in my mind that the recipies in that cook book are pretty fantastic too!
ReplyDeleteMy girlfriends always compliment my Amish made bread box----so all of my girlfriends will be getting an Amish made bread box for Christmas! I cannot wait to give them to them.
