The Bunker Hill Hutch

Keeping with the good old days, hutches were a common household item. No matter your wealth level, almost every home had a hutch. It was used to the special Sunday dishes and well as the everyday dishware and silverware for dinning along with teapots, flour, sugar and various other needs for both kitchen and dinning areas. In the past, the kitchen and dinning area were more often one room rather than the split room unless you were wealthier. A hutch made it convenient to have everything needed in one spot. Nowadays, having a hutch isn’t as much as a necessity as it was in the past, but still a great way to house dinning ware needs and so much more and make a beautiful accent to any home. That is something that has never changed in Amish made hutches, versatile, sturdy, and absolutely beautiful as you can easily see in the Bunker Hill Hutch pictured above.

ABOUT THE PICTURE
The Bunker Hill 4 door hutch is available as shown in quartersawn. The doors are cambered, flush fitted doors with black solid hardware. The drawers are dovetailed drawers with full extension slides.
The hutch will have a can light inside that operates by touching the upper right hinge for a switch. Glass shelves with plate groove. The base unit will have wooden adjustable shelves to fit your storage needs. Glass choices are gluechip, clear, smoke, seedy, smoke bevel, individual bevel, one-piece bevel, and antique.

  1. The good news is this is exactly what I've been looking for. The bad news is it looks too big to fit in the only space I have to put it. I couldn't find the dimensions for it. I asked my husband if we could move the wall and he just rolled his eyes at me. I don't think that's a good thing.

  2. I like the looks of this hutch. The deep rich color adds to the beauty and the fine workmanship shows in every inch. I particularly like the alcove in the middle.

  3. I was impressed to see that there is a choice of glass finishes with the Bunker Hill Hutch. Usually, what you see is what you get. I enjoy choosing the finish and glass type to make it uniquely my own.

  4. I never had a set of china but I have several sets of collectible statues that would look totally at home in that hutch. I noticed that there are several types of glass to choose from. Are there samples on the site I could take a peek at?
