That's a fantastic idea. There are 8 of us kids and Mom and Dad still have the same table and chairs that they got when they first got married. We're all adults now and replacing that dining room furniture would be an awesome gift for them. I'm going to send all of the brothers and sisters this link and get them thinking in that direction.
ReplyDeleteMom has been talking about getting a new dining room table but I know that since Dad got sick their resources are stretched pretty thin. I'm thinking that the 4 of us kids could help out here. Dad has repaired the table and all of the chairs but it really needs to be replaced. I'm sure when they find out that I'm looking at Amish built, the rest of my siblings will be willing to chip in.
