Plastic vs. Wooden Doll House Furniture

So many children’s toys on the market today are made out of plastic. The sad thing about them is they are as disposable as non-rechargeable batteries and last just about as long. How many have gone through several sets of plastic dollhouse furniture or have seen the quality of the products are less than what you paid for them. You get these little highchairs where the edges are sharp and if your child has even the slightest of a heavy hand will quickly becomes misshapen if not broke. The beds have no character little lone the dollhouse furniture cribs. Sure, they come in pretty colors to entice your child, but even your child will lose interest quickly when they don’t hold up to their active play.

Amish wooden dollhouse furniture will last your child imagination far past adult years and enable them to be able to even hand down the pieces when they have children of their own. You do not need to keep on replacing pieces because it will hold up to any child’s active play. Check out all the Amish made dollhouse furniture at Amish Retail.com.

  1. I love it. Finally, doll furniture for my kid's that won't fall apart the first time they use it. I've purchased some of the toys you've had on your site and this is one that will make a perfect Christmas gift. I shop for Christmas all year long, that way I can get the best gifts and the lowest prices.

  2. I had a doll house with furniture and it even had a set of bunkbeds. But, it didn't look as nice as this. If I remember correctly, and I think I do, it was pink and plastic. I got cheated!

  3. Unless you were lucky enough to have wood furniture I think all of the beds were pink and plastic, from the full size beds to the bunk beds to the cradles. It's laughable now but that doll house was my favorite thing to play with. Looking at this picture I can see that furniture has come a long way. Too bad I have 5 boys!

  4. How cute is that? My granddaughter would love to have this for her doll house. I could whip her up a couple of quilts too. I know she would love that.

  5. I built a few pieces of furniture for my girls to put in their doll houses. I thought it looked pretty good. After seeing this, mine looks Little House on the prairie rustic! I might have to get a couple of these and make Christmas gifts out of them. I wish I had that knack.
